Building a 2D fighting game set in old Hong Kong.
Making remixes, keeping that classic Wu-Tang sound alive, and digging up lost hip-hop tapes & forgotten gems.
My first ever background with parallax, made it years ago, was just messing around to learn it. A mysterious bamboo forest. Already pictured a ninjas bursting out of that bamboo straight onto the road. Ambush encounter. Track produced by me! #FGC#BeatEmUp#pixelart#indiedev
@MBashirzadeh That's the kind of question I need to be asking myself more. Right now it's mostly gut-feel tuning, but breaking those apart properly is definitely where this needs to go
Digging through the vault π This kick/projectile animation was my first serious pixel art piece, did it 2-3 years ago before I really knew what I was doing.
Been building fighting mechanics ever since.
More soon.

@SupremeXFighter Why did u disrespect a legend like this? π₯²
Making my own game and there won't be a high jump like this at all, only close back-and-forth combat.
@yakata_7 Never heard about this game, IβM big fan of pixel art fighting games, to the point that I decided to make my own game! Visuals attached βΊοΈ
@sega_city Comix Zone is pure inspiration. I don't know why there's almost zero games like that nowadays, with that pixel art quality and consistency. I'm making it myself, but with complex fighting mechanics
Made this torch pixel art a while back π₯ Right now Iβm deep in the fighting mechanics for my game, trying to make it feel like a real back-and-forth fight.
Proof of concept for the game I'm building, made this about a year ago to nail down the look and feel I'm chasing. Final result's gonna look even better than this, pipeline's come a long way since. But wanted to share where the vision started.
@YashCeroMiedo Got 2 joints done on it. Production's the soul work for me, no paycheck attached. My main focus right now gotta be the game, that's the real grind. Need to get real progress on the game before I can dive back into music. Just changed the priorities, but it's still on my plate.
