Constitutionalism cannot survive if constitutional guarantees can be removed without meaningful constitutional consent. Restore Art. 370. Restore Statehood. Restore institutional independence, judicial integrity, and genuine federalism. Justice must prevail. #Article370#Kashmir
If he does go on to do this, good. Because then he’ll have a standing to oppose the National Conference, however if he chooses to stay within the NC, he must take responsibility of being part of the ruling party. You cannot be in power and opposition at the same time.
I suppose the entirety of Kashmiri’s are “Dimagi Naxals” now, I see why you deny us basic rights as citizens now. You take us to be whatever the new term you come up with. You once remarked J&K CM gave well thought out educated statements, sadly we cannot say the same about you.
PM @narendramodi ji didn't say opposition leaders as Dimagi Naxals. Only following are Dimagi Naxals:
1. Who support Maoists and reject Indian Constitution.
2. Who stand with separatists & support Article 370.
4. Who want to cut chicken neck to separate North-East from India.
Received a phone call from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. We reviewed progress on various aspects of the India-Israel Special Strategic Partnership which continues to grow from strength-to-strength.
We also exchanged views on the current situation in West Asia.
@netanyahu
@abidwani_ Salary’s to show BJP “influence” in J&K does wonders for these corrupt people only chasing money. We shouldn’t even entertain these buffoons. No Morals, No Brain, No Integrity & Absolute Arseholes.

The developments that took place were the failed Smart City Project (@manojsinha_ earned a lot out of it though,) the introduction of excessive reservations as well as the growth of unemployment, oh & the introduction of wine shops. WE WANT OUR RIGHTS, OUR STATE (Pre 2019) BACK!
Seven years ago, on this day, Articles 370 and 35(A) became history, marking a decisive new chapter in the journey of Jammu and Kashmir as well as Ladakh.
Since then, the lives of the people of J&K and Ladakh have witnessed wide-ranging transformation. Infrastructure has expanded, opportunities in areas such as education, healthcare, entrepreneurship and sports have grown. Be it the women or the marginalised communities, those who were denied their basic constitutional rights for decades have been empowered thanks to the full application of the Constitution of India.
5th August this year assumes even greater significance as this is the year our nation commemorates the 125th birth anniversary of Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee. His lifelong commitment to national unity continues to inspire generations. What he envisioned decades ago found historic fulfilment on 5th August 2019.
We reaffirm our commitment to the progress of Jammu and Kashmir as well as Ladakh and to ensure that every citizen has the opportunity to dream big, achieve and contribute to the making of a Viksit Bharat.

We must first secure the statehood, then launch a united struggle from the ward level to the state level, without stopping until 370 is restored even if it takes years. The NC must lead this effort. I believe it wants the same goal, but its approach leaves much to be desired.
@KashmironX 1/2
The political leadership must unite on one platform. If the strategy is to secure statehood first and then restore 370, that’s fine, but it needs an assertive, peaceful movement. You cannot keep trying to be nice to the BJP and expect promises to be fulfilled.
Absolute bigot. 370 still exists in the Constitution, only its operative provisions were hollowed out. The flag incident was an honest mistake. Restoring 370 matters because it defines J&K’s constitutional relationship with India. We want to be Indians with our rights intact.
Article 370 is now in the dustbin of history forever. No separatism, terrorism or radicalisation politics should be acceptable in Jammu & Kashmir. And people should learn to hold the Tricolour appropriately with utmost respect, not violate the Flag Code of India. Jai Hind! 🇮🇳
INC leaders Rahul Gandhi, M Kharge & the INDIA Bloc MPs join JKNC MPs @ChowdryRamzan, @KichlooSajjad & @oberoi_shammi demanding restoration of full statehood to J&K outside the Parliament of India.
7 years, we haven’t forgotten & we haven’t reconciled far less accepted our current circumstances. My party & I remain committed to reversing all that was done to J&K that took away our rights & threatens our identity. “The woods are lovely, dark & deep. But I have promises to keep. And miles to go before I sleep……..”
@KashmironX I do not often quote BJP leaders, but let’s take Arun Jaitley’s own words in Parliament “The Supreme Court is final, not infallible.” The constitutional question exists, even a common man like me knows 100 things about what was wrong that day. Hope the courts get back their spine
And the Black Day returns yet again. August 5th will remain as the most unforgettable date in Kashmiri history forever, it will have infamy not fame. RESTORE ARTICLE 370 and 35A, Restore Statehood and bow down to the legal system & overturn your unconstitutional steps! #Kashmir
It is not just a day of condemnation, it is the day to renew our pledge for a long drawn political fight for our identity & existence as proud Kashmiris. We can sacrifice our politics and political existence for the bigger cause of restoration our democratic & constitutional(1/n)

Children should be encouraged to speak, but also taught decorum and respect. That’s what guidance is for. Both sides are wrong. Don’t judge a child by adult standards, and don’t excuse poor conduct because it suits your agenda. He’ll learn. We should’ve already learned.

The fact that Kashmir’s Twitter is debating a statement made by a 7 or 8-year-old child says a lot about us. He is a child. Why expect the maturity of an adult? One side calls him mannerless, the other hails him as the “Brilliant.” We as the society should mature first.
Teach the kid to respect his elders in both word and deed, but overlook those very elders using vile language against one another on public platforms in the name of politics. Overlook them being corrupt and compromised in the name of cooperation. Overlook them turning a blind eye to social evils in the name of development. Overlook them lying through their teeth in the name of safeguarding your identity. Overlook their lack of integrity in the name of pragmatism. And overlook the moral bankruptcy of those who continue to support such elders despite their having deceived the masses for decades.
We found a kid expressing his disappointment with the system and immediately jumped on the "let's teach him some manners" bandwagon, all while the so-called "elders" he "disrespected" continue to defile the very concept of morality and everything that term encompasses.
That kid may or may not deserve to be taught a lesson, but the system and the insensitivity that he called out, surely does need some fixing.
The Govt should genuinely consider giving summer breaks. It seems the Temperature will not go below 29 degrees, we wanna boil kids now? At such points even these trivial things become important, will affect student health. Immediate vacations necessary. @sakinaitoo@OmarAbdullah
