This afternoon I collected this lovely @linnproducts LP12 in need of some TLC - fitted with an Alphason tonearm, @NaimAudio Armageddon psu and Koetsu cartridge.

After a good clean, service and refurb this old deck will be ready to produce great music once again!

A great upgrade for any turntable from @collaroaudio - this morning we tested out their Mat Black Precision Mat on the @RegaResearch Eco Deck. It works equally well on anything Rega or @linnproducts 👌

Not the usual pairing, but a Mat Black Precision Mat on this gorgeous little @RegaResearch Planar 1 Eco looks the part. A great upgrade, and can be transferred when you change up to a P3 or above… because you know you want to!

The precision mat is exactly as named, incredibly precise, flat, uniform and of the purest wool. @collaroaudio go into huge detail on their website & spent a very long time developing it. But it’s best to test your own ears!

Some more @RegaResearch turntable servicing this week, with two Planar 25’s and two vintage Planar 3’s. All which have had a bearing deep clean & reoil, new cartridge, new drive belt, motor repositioning to achieve correct speed and a setup to get them playing better than ever!

Today we had a lovely 25 year old @RegaResearch P25 in for service and cartridge now playing beautifully next to the latest 50th anniversary P3!

After a little love, bearing clean, motor reposition (too quick), cartridge and belt, its running as good as new and ready to rock

Customer demo this morning. Originally testing his @RegaResearch RP3/neo with @Ortofon 2M bronze on a new Rega Elex MK4, quickly turned into a P6 Exact demo as well.

The customer was so impressed that he left with the lot and an Apollo CD player for good measure. #hifigear
