Uncle Bayo, I went beyond your statement and actually looked at the court record.

Nobody said Tinubu is on criminal trial. That is the easiest part of your argument and frankly, a distraction.

The US court itself described Greenspan’s requests as seeking criminal investigative records concerning Tinubu and Abiodun Agbele in connection with an early-1990s drug-trafficking and money-laundering investigation. The FBI and DEA initially refused to even confirm or deny whether such records existed. Judge Beryl Howell rejected that Glomar position against the FBI and DEA.

Now the records have been produced, portions are redacted, and Tinubu’s own lawyers are asking the court to allow those redactions and withholdings to remain.

Nobody is saying redaction equals guilt. It doesn't. Neither does “this is not a criminal case” answer the real question.

You spent years demanding accountability and questioning governments when you were on the other side. Surely the standard shouldn't suddenly change because the person being asked questions is now your principal.

Let Judge Howell decide what the law permits to be released.
