As we approach the end of Highland Community Foundation's tenth year of working to improve the quality of life for the people of Highland, we begin a series of #ThrowbackThursday posts looking back at some HCF's work serving the Town of Highland.

Today, we look back to the beginning: At a meeting held February 25, 2011, HCF was organized by the adoption of bylaws, the election of officers and approval of agreements with Legacy Foundation for the professional management, investment, accounting and reporting of our funds.

Both Mary and Doug have been active in various nonprofit groups, including Highland Main Street. They both have also been active volunteers with HCF's @HighlandHasArt subcommittee. Welcome! We are very excited to have the two of them onboard with us!
