One thing to keep in mind is that a big part of the reason the PS2 sold so many hardware units is because it was also one the most affordable DVD players at a time when DVD was taking off.

@Chris_Dring Would need to see the whole list and the actual sales numbers to provide needed context to this. One could game could rank several spots lower on the list than something else and still not have sold much worse. Without context this doesn't really mean much.
