𝗥𝗼𝗵𝗶𝘁 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗮 built this franchise by maintaining a dominant H2H record against almost every team for over a decade. Now, in his absence as a Captain, Mumbai Indians are slowly letting that legacy slip away.
There is a Test series happening right now of Indian team, and barely anyone knows about it.
Without Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, this format is literally dead and irrelevant. 😭
🚨Mohammad Kaif slammed the selectors for removing Rohit Sharma from the ODI captaincy.:
Removing Suryakumar Yadav from T20I captaincy is a big call, and an even bigger call was the decision to remove Rohit Sharma. If the selectors made that decision, I believe it was the wrong one and that he was removed at the wrong time. Don't look at Rohit Sharma's age; look at his performances. He is scoring runs, doing well, winning trophies, and taking India to the top on the world stage, then he deserves backing.
Many people have criticized the decision to remove him. I also questioned the selectors over it, and now it feels like they are trying to balance things out by showing that the decision wasn't directed at Rohit Sharma alone. The pattern seems to be that similar decisions could be taken in the future against any player who is not performing. However, until someone comes forward and clearly explains the reasoning behind the Rohit Sharma decision, people will continue to question whether the selectors were truly looking ahead or not.
Rohit fans:
a) 2 ICC trophies as captain & 2 as player
b) 20,000+ international runs
c) 3 ODI double tons
d) 5 T20I tons
e) Most ODI tons in SENA
f) 10+ ICC POTMs; only Indian with POTMs in QF, SF & Final
g) Most tons in ODI wc
And the list goes on...
Rohit Sharma's childhood coach reply to Saba Karim who said that Rohit would have to "do a lot of heavy lifting" and prove both his fitness and batting form to remain in the selectors' plans for the 2027 ODI WC.
Dinesh lad said : "Why are the next six months crucial only for only Rohit? It's crucial for all players. Everyone needs to play well to retain their place in the team. I have a 100 per cent guarantee that Rohit will definitely play the 50 overs World Cup in 2027. He will do well during these six months and the later months as well. If you give him an opportunity he will do well. I don't think Rohit needs to prove anything to anyone. He has retired from Tests and T20Is, not ODI. And in whatever ODI matches he had played last, he did well. I don't think there is any pressure on him.
THE ADVICE TO ROHIT SHARMA FROM HIS CHILDHOOD COACH DINESH LAD 🙌
🎙️ "Rohit should stay on the wicket and once he settles down he is a dangerous player. I would like to remind him of how he played in the 2019 World Cup. He should play like that again. You will get the best of Rohit even after he comes out of sleep. Technique, temperament, fitness all are fine. I think he will be 100 percent ready before the World Cup. He should play domestic 50 overs matches. Criticism will come, but Rohit should ignore it. He should enjoy playing."
ROHIT SHARMA WORKING HARD EVERY DAY 💪🏻🔥
Dinesh lad said : "Rohit not playing any other format does not mean he is having free time and enjoying life. He is practicing every day and working constantly on his fitness. Don't worry he is preparing himself hard for the World Cup"
ROHIT SHARMA BADLY WANT'S TO WIN 2027 WORLD CUP FOR INDIA
Rohit Sharma's childhood coach Dinesh lad said : 🗣️- "Being a coach, I don't think he needs to prove anything to anyone. He badly wants to win the ODI World Cup. I have spoken to him and he is very categoric with what he wants in career. I don't think he needs to prove his fitness. Despite the age factor, he is still fit enough,"
"He knows that if he has to play there should be a reason. The reason is to win the ODI World Cup. He wants to win that for India at any cost. I am sure he will retire only after that. Forget, age factor or strain in legs or injuries, when he wants to play, he will and he will play very well."
