We’ve listened to local feedback and can confirm that both the Wyndham Road and Victoria Road footbridges over the A36 will be replaced with new, modern structures.

Final update: Traffic has been released both ways on the #M6 within J33 near #Lancaster

@LancsPolice has advised that the entry slip road at J33 northbound remain closed to recover a vehicle from the verge.

There are resulting delays of 30 minutes.

@fedupfish limits to 50 MPH, whilst the work is taking place. If there's incident in the carriageway, then it's easier for drivers to manoeuvre around at 50 MPH, rather than travelling at the national speed limit. - Sam. 2/2

🚧 Reminder: The A40 near Gloucester will be closed in both directions tonight (Monday 19 October) from 8pm until 6am between Over roundabout and Highnam roundabout. The contraflow will switch onto the eastbound carriageway from tomorrow (20 Oct).

Thank you to everyone for your patience while the M5 was closed J11 - J12 this weekend to demolish the Uphill Court and Grove Court footbridges.

The M5 NB exit slip road at J11a will remain closed this week. Access to the M5 via J11a open as normal.
