First project starting in my new lab 😁 on flowering cover crops to boost wild pollinators and pollination in almonds. Busy days meeting the farmers and learning about their problems (and eating almonds).

@CorinaMaurer That was definitely a key message throughout all sessions! We need to integrate this into policies and planning. I think it was nicely presented in @LynnDicks talk Friday.

@ron_efrat @Society4ConBio I agree that name was a bit awkward. Many talks in the agroecology and pollinator conservation sessions were case studies.
I also noticed a bias on presenter's country, most Israeli participants were in smaller and later sessions despite giving great talks!

Agricultural landscapes can be a complex matrix to handle even for mobile species. Small birds need linear features as pathways, and suffer from high landscape simplification. Great talk by @HandelMichal in #eccb2022 in Prague this week.
