Heat pumps are our best shot at decarbonising heating.

The UK is doing very badly on this.

But the rest of Europe is showing that:
1. It can be done
2. They work in colder climates than ours

It's official, my air source heat pump has been installed for exactly 12 months! 1978kWh electricity consumed, 8359kWh of heat delivered, SCOP of 4.23 which results in half the running cost of my existing bottled propane combi boiler and 30% less than mains gas 👍

@UrmstonDeb @jack_kelly @russss @CarbonCoop Hi - the Bright App is free for half hourly data (looks as though @CarbonCoop carries an annual fee) - and comes with API access if required. But the more services out there giving access to data the better so everyone can manage their consumption.

@Brunty Sadly the suppliers have little incentive to update on the meter - it does not affect them in any way.
