Meet Semakadde Henry, an Electrical Technician contributing to Ugandaโs power distribution sector through technical expertise and a commitment to safety.
He holds a Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. Henry previously worked as a Contract Technician at UMEME (U) Ltd and currently serves as an Assistant Linesman at Uganda Electricity Distribution Company Limited (UEDCL).
He specialises in power infrastructure construction, transformer diagnostics, and utility meter installation. His expertise includes High Voltage and Low Voltage overhead line construction, network fault troubleshooting, grid upgrades, and maintaining high safety standards throughout the power distribution lifecycle.
Through technical skill, continuous learning, and dedication to operational excellence, Henry contributes to building a safer, more reliable, and efficient electricity network.
