I enjoyed helping Mrs. Cooksey’s 4th graders with their landform salt maps. Loved the engagement and collaboration among these students.
Thank you to United Way and GCSC Foundation for funding literacy grants at each elementary. The students have loved the take home books and activities that support our new ELA curriculum. #literacymatters
When you walk the halls at 5:00 and discover our dedicated teachers unpacking and preparing their lessons together for our new ELA curriculum. @JBS_Principal
Enjoyed seeing these JB Stephens 4th grade scientists kick off their Scientific Method unit. Students learned the steps in the process during an egg experiment. Look at the incredible details in their notes. @Rosshr05@JBS_Principal
JBS teachers started their year with a little joy. We played a little “What Do You Meme-for Teachers” Thanks @Joe_Sanfelippo for reminding us to start with joy! @JBS_Principal
JB and Eden staff collaborated during PLC. Teachers unpacked the writing components of Wit and Wisdom to see how the program aligns with our IN standards.
Loved hearing literature circle discussions from these 3rd grade readers at Eden. Students pointed out description as author’s craft, essential parts of the plot, and rich vocabulary in their texts. @MrBowmanEES #1GC
It was a great 2 days of learning at the IAG conference with these amazing educators. Looking forward to sharing and implementing new strategies to meet the needs of our high ability learners. @MrsSalleeJBS@MrsCaryteaches#1GC
It was a mathematical day at JBS. Ms. Dickey’s mathematicians had fun seeing who can get closest to 100 with multiplication arrays while Mrs. King’s 3rd graders created and wrote their very own Esti-Mysteries. @JBS_Principal@juliedickey@Thirdgrade143
