I built an AI agent to help me with tracking food and lifting named Dr. Bot Israetel (homage to the god @misraetel). I asked Chat to make a profile picture for him. I feel like the nose is a little much.
@tferriss This is why I love Solutions-Focused Brief Therapy as a therapist. It assumes that the problem and the solution may have no relationship at all, and asks clients to construct a vision of their desired outcome and image how to move towards it.
@emollick Commoditizing your compliments. So a good play for a company that makes chips or robots. Or a country that's really good at manufacturing and is willing to fund it.
@misraetel One take I keep hearing is that people with taste will win with AI. I feel like this fits that since conscientious is a kind of taste: be kind, earn and save money, stay healthy, care for family, etc.
The home PC of the future:
1. An always on tower with no monitor.
2. E-ink displays, tablets, Tv's.
3. A walkie talkie for talking with your agent.

@danshipper@lennysan Great episode! One thing I took from it is just more permission to keep having fun, so I added a skull button on my website this morning: https://t.co/4b9iHJM8Ol
@cannonballmike@Bonesteaks@newstart_2024 My guess is that's not possible for most people, but what I love about people who do radical experiments which the rest of us probably can't do is that they bring back knowledge which we can use bits and pieces of.
@Bonesteaks@newstart_2024 I've felt a lot better since I got my phone time under 90 minutes a day back in December. You should try just radically reducing and see what happens.
@sudobunni It's so true! I made a website about how to stop using your phone so much. No relevant web development experience. It's been delightful https://t.co/jVrnO4gG6q
"Men’s problems are usually presented as a problem of quantity: we are either too masculine or not masculine enough. But the problem with masculinity is not about quantity. The problem is with masculinity’s content."

@ryanprice248 @cosmic_yawn It's not promises tho, it's written rules and committee assignments, and they can be difficult to change. That's why the concessions that hard-liners are extracting now will be cause issues further down the line, because they can't just be willed away.
@ryanprice248 @cosmic_yawn my bad, looks like it's their staff that doesn't get paid, "Without an approved House Rules package by the end of business on January 13, committees also won’t be able to pay staff" https://t.co/SWaWgsZwCh
@ryanprice248 @cosmic_yawn But real barrier is the possibility of 15 dems extract some concessions from rebups or 8 repubs extract some concessions from dems and hard liners throw away power while looking like fools.
@ryanprice248 @cosmic_yawn I mean also not take a paycheck while they hold out. Which is something they all truly hate quite a bit more than they pretend to hate the fed govn't.
