I didn’t want to make a post like this, but this is probably gonna be my last post here. I’m leaving the Hundred Line RP space entirely, and I likely won’t return
I let my mental health deteriorate over the last few months, and took it out on my friends, none of whom deserved it
@crimson0azure@evilzomi@niceeito@SapphicSamurai_ With an audible "click" and little resistance, the cube comes loose in his hands. The light seems to fade somewhat, but the pulsing continues as before.
The slot on the shelf where the cube used to rest now has a green light surrounding it, indicating that it's empty.
The group has managed to maneuver their way through the Two Guards room guarding a set of portal rooms. Gaku Hints and Kako Hints stood in their way, but an impassioned plea from Kyoshika Magadori revealed the steps the group needs to take to rescue Kyoshika Hints.
@SapphicSamurai_@niceeito@evilzomi@crimson0azure "That sounds like a good plan." Kako put her hand to her chin in thought. "The Hintmaster is the oldest person in the Hint Dimension. Surely he can do whatever you need him to do."
"Hey Kako Hints, quit it. There's no way that plan ends well. We could be next in the Soul Forge!"
@crimson0azure@evilzomi@niceeito@SapphicSamurai_ Takumi examines the nearest cube. It is an unusual box, with a glass-like exterior and metal wireframe, with what appears to be a small flame on the inside. The flame pulses in brightness every few seconds.
It is slotted directly into one of the grooves in the shelves.
@evilzomi@niceeito@SapphicSamurai_@crimson0azure Hanging from the ceiling are massive signs, roughly splitting the room into ten equal sizes. The sign to their left reads "046" and the sign to their left reads "045".
@evilzomi@niceeito@SapphicSamurai_@crimson0azure Around the corner, the hallway is short before it terminates at a large set of double doors. These are not barred, and a plaque on top of the door reads "Consolidated Memory Room 041-050".
@evilzomi@niceeito@SapphicSamurai_@crimson0azure None of the other rooms' plaques contained writing in either Futuran or Japanese, or any language that the group could recognize.
Just beyond the last door, the corridor takes a left turn.
@evilzomi@niceeito@SapphicSamurai_@crimson0azure 8 more doors lined the hallway, Memory Rooms 043 through 050. All of them were boarded up and dark inside, but a quick peek through the boards seems to indicate that all of them are just as empty as the others.
@SapphicSamurai_@niceeito@crimson0azure@evilzomi A small bit of tension fills the air as Kyoshika and Eito size each other up, but it quickly passes as Kyoshika laughs the whole thing off.
The group determines that there is nothing else to learn from Memory Room 042.
@SapphicSamurai_@niceeito@crimson0azure@evilzomi V'exika recognizes the word "Futurum", the name of the planet they came from, written in the Futuran language. This is the only word recognizable on the plaque, as the others seem to be written in different languages.
@niceeito@crimson0azure@evilzomi@SapphicSamurai_ It takes a while, as Eito has struggled trying to parse the Futuran language in the past, but with great effort, he guesses that the text says "Futurum" on it.
