I have read dozens of outraged posts because the US special envoy Witkoff called Putin a "humanist." But no one is writing about the fact that the American negotiators are simply not doing their job. Let me explain.
Peace negotiations are important in their own right. Even if they do not lead to a lasting peace, the process itself is an opportunity to resolve urgent humanitarian issues. If, of course, the human dimension is a priority for the negotiators. But it is entirely obvious that neither Witkoff nor Kushner cares about people's fates in this war.
The Pope calls on Putin to save thousands of people from starvation in occupied Oleshky and the surrounding villages. The UN speaks about a humanitarian catastrophe and asks Russia to allow the evacuation of the civilian population. European Parliament Vice-President Pina Picierno goes on a hunger strike to draw attention to this tragedy unfolding before the eyes of the whole world.
And what are Witkoff and Kushner doing?
That's right, almost nothing.
Except for passing along greetings from Putin’s aide to the First Lady.
Thousands of people are already eating grass to survive and begging to save their lives. The Ukrainian side raises the issue of Oleshky at every meeting. And I can name dozens of such urgent humanitarian issues off the top of my head where American negotiators must be proactive.
Trump’s peace negotiations have already gone down in history as the deadliest years for Ukraine’s civilian population since the start of the full-scale invasion.
I don’t know if anyone will remember the names of Witkoff and Kushner.
But history will certainly record how American negotiators, who had the opportunity to save a huge number of people, refused to raise uncomfortable questions before "humanist Putin."
Hi @VivekGRamaswamy - I've met a lot of cunts in my life. You are the biggest cunt I've ever not met. From what I've read everyone hated you in HS, uni, and in business. I truly hope you suffer the biggest defeat in OH history. Those good people don't deserve a cunt like you.
Having spent time with @VivekGRamaswamy on his campaign, I knew that he was an insufferable, arrogant prick. But I didn't realize that he would stoop this low. Vivek should pull the ad, apologize and resign from the campaign in disgrace before Ohio voters send his ass home.
Vivek’s ad with Amy Acton’s mother is one of the most despicable things I’ve ever seen in politics.
He’s arguably the most unlikable person in the history of people…because of stuff like this.
By the end of the day, Ohioans will learn what happen to Amy as a 12-year old girl, how her mother lost custody of Amy as a result, and what a disgrace Vivek is for pulling this.
Amy Acton's brother slams Vivek Ramaswamy featuring her estranged mother in a campaign ad.
"After he was arrested and Amy and I were removed from their custody, our birth mother stayed married to Amy’s rapist until he died. This desperate, disgusting attack reveals exactly who Vivek Ramaswamy is at his core – a pathetic excuse for a man who is willing to hurt anyone as long as it gets him what he wants."
Political appointees at the Department of Homeland Security wanted CISA, an agency that protects election systems, to acquire and hack a voting machine, which shocked staffers.
“This goes against everything CISA represents,” a former official said.

BREAKING: The Trump regime has attempted to hack voting machines. This is beyond alarming, with only two weeks to go before the most important midterm election in U.S. history. Trump appointees asked the federal cybersecurity agency CISA to secretly acquire a voting machine and hack it. (Source: ProPublica)
Early voting starts today in Texas and South Carolina. You get to fire senators.
You will never get a vote on John Roberts, the man who gave presidents immunity for official acts.
Most people don’t know Congress can remove him. Now you do.
