I am a yoga loving librarian who works with nearly 800 middle school students. Reason enough to stand on my head!

I am delighted to celebrate my freedom to read widely with some silliness. #DavPilkey is a master of hilarity and all things ridiculous. Here's to remembering the power of laughter when I read and finding ways to share that with my students. #yalit #teenlit #readya #kidslit

Toning the Sweep resonates in 2020 as if it were written yesterday. Angela Johnson is brilliant at bringing the essence of her characters to life with the brevity of a master.
It's a classic for a reason. #toningthesweep #yalit #teenlit #readya #yaclassic #ownvoices

Grimoire Noir @LadyGreentea I'm obsessed. Welcome back to school me! I was captivated immediately by the art and then transported by the story. My only complaint is that I couldn't finish it over morning coffee! #yalit #teenlit #readingya #booknerd #teenlibrarian #ComicArt

The Jumbies @TraceyBaptiste I love this Caribbean trickster tale & I couldn't get enough of brave Corinne. It's the perfect blend of adventure & creepiness. Only downside...it' makes me miss my students & live booktalks even more. #yalit #readya #booknerd #teenlibrary #teenlit
