@SuspendedDoll1 @JustBeingDanny Dreamcast OG is way smoother than the PS2 port, especially in PAL regions cause the GCN and PS2 PAL ports were jerky as hell. Even moreso because the DC had legit 60 FPS progressive output using the VGA RGB cable, although not in PAL regions - as was the style at the time.

@adsk4 The atmosphere in that scene when Heather wakes up at the mall is some of the most real I've ever felt in a video game to this day. The colours, lighting, background sounds of traffic ages people, and the accompaniment of Akira Yamaoka's "Float up from a Dream" made it perfect 👌

@BigLipRadio @Meio_Szetszuna That's true, but they also can't get returns if I don't buy their game cause it's on another system. How many people played Eternal Darkness which was a GameCube exclusive vs Resident Evil 4 which was ported more than Doom at this point?

@BigLipRadio @Meio_Szetszuna I'm not sure that HAS to be the case. Leonardo DaVinci wasn't great because he was competing with others but because he was a talented artist. The Beatles were great because they had the right stuff at the right time. It may be true from a monetary/capitalistic PoV.
