@PhoneBoothBeaut@DJHeerMusic I wasn’t saying it was close. I was just backing him up that there was talk about it. Canucks Central might have talked about it too a bit.
@CamIsAClown@FreePeteyEP40 Everyone acting like a (probably 60-70 pt) 2way C that plays on a good teams 2nd line is a bad thing and has no value. He’s not worth a kings ransom, but there’s no point moving him for peanuts.
@CamIsAClown@FreePeteyEP40 I never said he is, I said he has been. A 70 pt solid 2way C is the most realistic. He’s never had consistent/great wingers. He’s definitely overpaid, but with the cap going up significantly over the next few years it’s not that big of a gamble. The potential is there.
@inthe306@FreePeteyEP40 He’s been a 100+pt C. On a good team he’s a great 2C at worst. He’s worth Shane Wright and a 2nd any day of the week. That’s a small gamble.
@inthe306@FreePeteyEP40 In this proposal he is only returning Wright. That is a light return even for him under-producing. Guy just needs a change of scenery. Add a 2nd rounder and it’s a great deal for both teams.
@Canucks_Enjoyer I think they’d be more likely to trade Hronek and a 3rd rounder for 2OA from the sharks. Then Stenberg/McKenna @ 2OA and Malholtra 3OA.
