Her entry into hostel and college premises has been banned. A five-member committee will submit an investigation report within 7 days. Officials say that keeping in mind the security of Sejal Pawar, she has been safely handed over to her family.

The institute has decided to place her on forced leave for 15 days and during that period she will not be allowed to enter the hospital, medical college and hostel premises.

Sejal Pawar got admission in her medical college under ST Category.

This has been happening for decades now. Rich SC ST people taking away all the seats reserved for SC ST Category and poor SC ST people don't get anything.

Supreme Court raised this issue and suggested that creamy layer like concept should be introduced to SC ST Category so that benefits of reservation reaches the people who need it most. Some groups started the rumor that Govt want to dilute SC ST Category.

Govt panicked and categorically rejected applying the creamy layer concept to SC/ST quotas. Govt beleives that economic status does not erase the systemic social stigma and untouchability faced by these communities. 🤷
