Every De Bruyne touch and pass seems to be so out of place on this Belgian team which seems to have just no plan or quality in the opponent's half. I know they want to keep him closer to goal but the ball won't even reach the final third if they keep this up.
Tragic news today: the eminent historian Gordon S. Wood was struck and killed while walking in the Shaw's plaza in East Providence, his family confirms to me. No comment from Brown yet
Wood was just featured in Ken Burns' American Revolution documentary https://t.co/aMBVWMX2j0
If Lebron shouldn't lose face for losing to better teams in the finals then he shouldn't get credit for beating bad teams in the East and if MJ shouldn't be diminished for losing to better teams in earlier rounds then he shouldn't get credit for beating worse teams in the finals.
Adam Silver was actually the only liked commisioner among the 4 major leagues until a few years ago because he placated to the players and cared about being liked. Whereas guys like Goodell and especially Manfred who are hated vastly improved the game and the product.
Munetaka Murakami is absolutely fascinating.
He's been completely incapable of hitting pitches outside of the strike zone (33.3% O-Contact), but he never, ever chases, so leaving the zone isn't a viable strategy.
You basically have to challenge him, and then he can do this.
Haven't been critical of Aaron Judge for his postseason performances because I do believe baseball is way more about the consistency through 6 months but if he doesn't come through against the Blue Jays' pitching staff which he usually dominates, it'll be hard to defend him.
Music critique shouldn't really be a thing anymore. It made sense when you had to go out and buy records but what does it even mean now? It's not even like TV/Films where there's an investment of time involved. No one listens to or stops listening to anything because of a critic
De Bruyne is getting in the positions he does and for some reason it feels like Belgium are playing around him. I've already seen like 5 separate instances where De Bruyne could've gotten the ball outside the box in a dangerous position and they just don't get it to him.

Have always felt that Adam Silver is the worst commissioner in sports because the NBA has done absolutely nothing to improve its product in his tenure. Everyone hates Goodell but the NFL optimizes its product every year to better the viewing experience as much as they can.
