Adam Silver was actually the only liked commisioner among the 4 major leagues until a few years ago because he placated to the players and cared about being liked. Whereas guys like Goodell and especially Manfred who are hated vastly improved the game and the product.

Munetaka Murakami is absolutely fascinating.

He's been completely incapable of hitting pitches outside of the strike zone (33.3% O-Contact), but he never, ever chases, so leaving the zone isn't a viable strategy.

You basically have to challenge him, and then he can do this.

Haven't been critical of Aaron Judge for his postseason performances because I do believe baseball is way more about the consistency through 6 months but if he doesn't come through against the Blue Jays' pitching staff which he usually dominates, it'll be hard to defend him.

Have always felt that Adam Silver is the worst commissioner in sports because the NBA has done absolutely nothing to improve its product in his tenure. Everyone hates Goodell but the NFL optimizes its product every year to better the viewing experience as much as they can.
