There isn’t a single historical or universal reason that “Chinese people despise Black people.” Attitudes vary massively by person, region, and context, just like with any other group. In China specifically, you’ll find everything from ignorance, to curiosity, to friendship, to racism, depending on who you’re dealing with and where.
