وفاقی بجٹ ۲۰۲۶ کا اہم ترین نکتہ وفاقی حکومت کا اعتراف ہے کہ معیشت کی کمزوری اور ٹیکس کے نظام میں امرا کو دی گئی سہولتوں کے باعث ٹیکسوں سے وہ رقم وصول نہیں ہو سکتی جو بڑھتے وفا��ی اخراجات کو پورا کر سکے۔ وفاقی اخراجات میں کٹوتی کا کوئی ارادہ نہیں۔

فرسٹ کلاس اور بزنس کلاس کے ہوائی ٹکٹوں پر ٹیکس کی ہوشربا چھوٹ ہو یا امرا کی بیرون ملک جائدادوں پر ٹیکس کا خاتمہ حکومتی ترجیحات واضح ہیں۔ طاقتوروں کو خوش رکھو۔

ت��خواہ دار طبقے کو ٹیکس میں معمولی (%3.8) چھوٹ صرف ماہانہ دو لاکھ سے زیادہ تنخواہ والوں کو دی گئی ہے۔ بڑی چھوٹ (%17.2) ان کو دی گئی ہے جن کی ماہانہ تنخواہ نو لاکھ سے پچاس لاکھ روپے ہے۔

وفاقی حکومت کی ترجیحات کو پورا کرنے کیلئے صوبوں کے وسائل پر حملہ ہے۔ آئین کے تحت صوبوں کو حاصل ٹیکس رقوم میں سے ایک کھرب روپے سے زائد وفاقی خسارے کو پورا کرنے کیلئے صوبوں سے مانگا جا رہا ہے۔ صحت اور تعلیم پر خرچہ صوبوں کی ذمہ داری ہے۔ پاکستان صحت اور تعلیم پر کم ترین خرچہ کرنے والے ملکوں میں شامل ہے۔ ۱۵ سال کی عمر کے چالیس فیصد بچے تعلیم سے محروم اور جسمانی و دماغی طور پر عمر سے کم استطاعت رکھتے ہیں۔ آج صوبوں سے رقم چھیننے کا منصوبہ ہے۔ یہ غریب کی صحت اور تعلیم پر حملہ ہے۔ پنجاب اور سندھ کی حکومتیں اس حملے میں شامل ہیں۔

میری خیبر پختونخواہ کے مشیر خزانہ سے آج وفاقی وزیر خزانہ کی بجٹ تقریر کے حوالے سے تفصیلی گفتگو ہوئی ہے۔ وہ واضح ہیں کہ خیبر پختونخواہ عمران خان صاحب سے وزیر اعلی کی ملاقات اور واضح ہدایت کے بغیر وفاقی حکومت کو کوئی رقم نہیں دے گا۔ وزیر اعلی خیبر پختونخواہ نے واضح کیا ہے کہ بجٹ کے حوالے سے ہر قدم عمران خان صاحب سے ملاقات سے مشروط ہے۔

Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi remain illegally imprisoned and are being subjected to systematic psychological and physical torture through unlawful isolation.
For the past seven months, Imran Khan has been kept in solitary confinement. He has been denied access to his family, his personal doctors, and even basic human rights including books, which he has not been allowed for the last five months.

At this moment, our primary demand is clear: Imran Khan must immediately be shifted to Shifa International Hospital for comprehensive medical examinations and proper treatment for his eye condition.

Today, the 12th of May, CM Sohail Afridi, along with the entire KP Assembly, members of the Punjab Assembly, members of the National Assembly, and Senators from PTI, will come to Adiala Jail to stand in solidarity with their leader, Imran Khan.

Their presence will highlight the issue both nationally and internationally, the ongoing mistreatment and psychological torture being inflicted upon Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi. It is also intended to build pressure on this government (a government brought into power through stolen mandate from Imran Khan) to immediately transfer him to Shifa International Hospital without any further delay.

Our family once again strongly urges Imran Khan’s supporters NOT to come to Adiala Jail today. Police will not arrest elected representatives and Senators, but the supporters remain at serious risk of arrest and mistreatment.
