今屆預計有三名球員離隊，就是迪亞斯、鄭少偉和蘇來強。新球員方面會加入兩名亞援和一名有實力爭取正選位置的本地球員。另外會提升兩、三名青年軍上一隊，其中包括新出爐的最佳青年員夏志明。

傑志成為本年度「香港足球明星」頒獎禮大贏��,盧比度眾望所歸當選香港足球先生及最受球迷喜愛球員，盧均宜、後衛丹尼、羅沙度、中場林嘉緯及前鋒佐迪亦連同「Chino」一起入圍最佳志7將入選最佳11人
