@soniasodha@BBCr4today Brilliant, Sonia. I was particularly pleased to hear you stress that this issue isn’t a left/right divide. Anyone with 2 brain cells to rub together can see that the BBC has been ideologically captured by trans activists. There isn’t even any pretence at impartiality.
So just to be clear, it's completely ok to edit politician's speeches, but never ok for women presenters to silently express the views of the majority of people by highlighting the absurdity of Orwellian language-policing...? (Only *women* can and do get pregnant).
The arrest of @glinner is indefensible & a threat to free speech.
It's an insult to all the women who have reported serious crimes, rape & domestic violence, & had to put up with inadequate investigations & police failures.
Such an indictment of current priorities.
Less by @paddygrant is superb. Most of us already know that we shld #buyless, #buybetter and repair what we have - but it’s articulated brilliantly & unapologetically. Challenges us to consider what a good life is & shows how worshipping @ altar of consumption is not the answer.

Superb article. Am always surprised more people aren't making this point. Aiming to repurpose existing vacant buildings before going down the 'build, baby, build' route makes sense on so many levels.
With hundreds of thousands of empty homes across the country, it’s tragic that the UK can’t accommodate its extensive need with existing buildings. Not only that — it’s an opportunity to rethink how we want to live, says Ingrid Schroder https://t.co/Gn4Jq3dhYj
