I love all that is good in my country, and I don't want to see it destroyed by a bunch of fascists and grifters who love nothing but money and power. It's as simple-and as painful-as that.
@nerdypursuit Would be interesting to challenge someone to produce proof of it. They can’t because he didn’t go to one screening of it, let alone multiples around the country. I would think we would remember that!
@nerdypursuit I kind of remember this being A Thing on the right at the time. IIRC, Pete passed through ORD on his way to or from DC on the same day the movie had its premiere, and people either lied or were confused about what that meant.
@nerdypursuit I don't expect Pete to be at the top of this list at present, but the delta between him and Harris definitely feels larger than deserved. (Also lol, so much for Beshear, the great white hope).
@nerdypursuit Proving electability has to be priority #1 for him. Problem is I'm not sure how he does it, short of running for something else, which he's elected not to do. I find it a bit interesting that the electability-focused Black voter doesn't seem to have this concern with Harris.
@chyeaok Basically he inflicts more or less constant psychological/emotional abuse on us, punctuated by periods of possible actual violence. Another three years of this doesn't feel tenable, tbh.
@chyeaok He would have basically had a money printer had he been running. By the end of this, I think some of the people who were so negative about the idea of him running are going to wish that he had.
@nerdypursuit Oh, I knew this would happen. Would be easier to say I told you so if it wasn't so important that one of the people actually running wins.
@nerdypursuit I personally think running the gov of CA is one of the worst choices we could make, but the broader party, as ever, seems determined to disagree with me. I don't get how more people don't see through him.
