"When they came to Jesus and found that he was already dead, they did not break his legs. Instead, one of the soldiers pierced Jesus’ side with a spear, bringing a sudden flow of blood and water."
-John 19:33-34
Purity and Charity.
"Wherever there is the greatest purity, there is also the greatest charity.
The more a heart is pure, and empty of itself, the greater is the fullness of its love towards God."
-St. Anselm

The moment was Covid. It happened. Almost every journalist in the nation failed to relay reliable information, instead succumbing to panic and the widest-spread daily curtailment of civil liberties in my lifetime. The rare figures who didn't were silenced or stifled or removed.
Let's not be afraid, because divine providence has outfitted us so well that we have no reason to fear. Our armor is good, and our helper the best. For our helper is God, and He is such that no one can withstand Him.
- St. Catherine of Siena
NEW: Woman in the Swiss ski bar fire says she witnessed a miracle, says the flames completely avoided her friend, who sat down with a cross in his hand when he became trapped.
"A friend of mine couldn’t get out, and he just sat down and held his cross in his hand."
"The fire just avoided him. The fire didn't touch him. The fire was all around him but not on him."
Praise God.
"What a great saint is the glorious St. Joseph!
...For in him are included the excellence of bishops, the self-sacrifice of martyrs, and the qualities of all the other saints."
-St. Francis de Sales
"Those who seek to perfect themselves in every form of moral excellence must keep their eyes focused on the lives of the saints...In this way, they can make the saints' virtue their own by imitation."
-St. Basil the Great
“Joseph, the honest man, seeks God.
Joseph, the selfless man, finds God.
Joseph, the hidden man, delights in God’s presence.”
–Second Panegyric on St. Joseph by Bossuet
St. Joseph, with his most pure heart, unites us with the Immaculate Heart of Mary, his spouse, who brings our hearts to the glorious-pierced Heart of her Divine Son, in which our hearts find their true home, an unceasing fountain of Divine Mercy and Love.
-Cardinal Raymond Burke
"O incomparable Joseph!
How beloved thou art of God, since to thee He confides three trusts that are beyond all measure and comprehension: the Virginity of Mary; the Person of His only Son; the secret of the Mystery of the Incarnation!"
-Jacques-Bénigne Bossuet
"In [Mary] you can find your pattern of life, for she demonstrates clearly the rules of virtue: what you must correct in yourselves, what you must embrace, and what you must hold firmly."
-St. Ambrose of Milan
"Each and every one of us, at the end of the journey of life, will come face to face with either one or the other of two faces…And one of them, either the merciful face of Christ or the miserable face of Satan, will say, 'Mine, mine.'
May we be Christ’s!"
-Ven Fulton J. Sheen
The wonderful Fr. Altier actually baptized the trans killer, Robert Westman. When the killer was a little boy, he served daily Mass with Father Altier. Father has not seen the family in 12 years and didn't know what happened to them. We now know that when the killer was 11, his parents divorced. The family fell apart. His father, who was apparently not religious, remarried. His father celebrated his "transition." This young man became caught up in the demonic.
For some reason, YouTube has blocked this homily.
