Members of Eldorado Park Crime Prevention Unit, alongside Gauteng Traffic Wardens were performing their normal duties on Thursday, 11 June 2026,when they received Crime Intelligence driven information around 20:00 that at Boundary Road, Eldorado Park extension nine Bus Stop, opposite a Liquor Shop,there is an unknown male standing there, suspected to be in possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition.
On their arrival at the address, the members saw the exact description of the person,and when he noticed the police vehicle,he attempted to flee into Kersiedorp Section,but he was intercepted by the members.
The alleged suspect was searched,after permission was granted and a black 9mm Norico firearm was found on his waist as well as ammunition. He failed to produce a licence to possess a firearm. Subsequently,the alleged suspect was then arrested for possession of unlicensed firearm and ammunition, the suspect will appear before court soon. Investigations are ongoing .

Surely someone out knows these criminals. The lady was even confused as to what she wanted. This eHailing driver died, for what? For what hle? Koloi? Phone? Money? Life was taken in Pretoria West. We need to find these criminals.
