Unpopular opinion of the day: Requiring reading logs documenting how many minutes or pages young people read is more about compliance and exerting control than "motivating" readers or "proving" any reading occurred.
I definetly identify as a twitter “learner” however when it comes to @nellkduke’s tweets I might be a twitter “confirmer”. Does it count when the majority of my tweets are retweets and quotes from you? #consistentlyconfirmsmybeliefs
“The purpose of the task determines the tool, not the other way around” “The mute button is a new way to send negative messages to low achieving students” Powerful messages from “The Distance Learning Playbook” webinar. Thank you. @DFISHERSDSU@NancyFrey@john_hattie invaluable!
“Use the elements of hip-hop culture to modify protocols and make them more responsive to students' interests and knowledge base.” Fishbowl becomes a Cipher @Ready4rigor Thank you for educating me with everything you write #brilliant https://t.co/sApMRe9qKV
As soon as I read this story I immediately bought 10 copies to share. “The Boy, the Mole, the Fox, and the Horse” By: Charles Mackesy is the most beautiful book with a message that is good for the soul. Highly recommend for all ages!
