@volleyaura All I know is I haven’t ever seen a better libero play the sport. She’s unbelievable. If there’s another libero playing the game anywhere on this planet that’s better I’d like to get tickets to her game asap then. Cuz I won’t believe it unless I see it for myself.
I have watched a lot of volleyball over the last twelve years. This is one of the most absurd rallies I have ever seen. Elena Scott is one of the greatest liberos in the WORLD. Never seen anything like her.
Kentucky has become a hotbed for volleyball, but I think the only way a team is established here is if a new arena was built somewhere that could house them. Yum! is awesome, but with men’s and women’s basketball running the same time as the MLV season it just wouldn’t work.
It’s not nearly as mainstream as basketball or football, but there is nothing better than a five-set, two and a half hour war on a volleyball court. I will die on the hill that it requires some of the most elite athleticism of any sport out there.
Kentucky announces a clash with North Carolina next year as a part of an ACC/SEC Challenge. Tarheels are returning a solid core that made the Round of 32 in last year's NCAA Tournament. That non conference schedule continues to get more and more packed. 👀
Cards take the fourth 25-16 to take the match 3-1 in a game that looked a lot like the Spring match from last year. Cards looked strong and incredibly confident. Cats need to clean up a lot. But just like last year, lot of really good flashes of what this team could become.
Kentucky has had a TON of hitting errors tonight, odd for a team that returned so much depth from last year. Part of that is the stress that Louisville puts on you with the block, but some of these are just misses long or wide. That will be a big area of emphasis this offseason.
Because her offensive game was so strong, Eva's work in serve receive was often overlooked. Eva was an EXCELLENT passer though, especially for a six-rotation outside. Lot of people passing in areas of the court that they didn't have to do last year.
Louisville takes the third 25-10 behind some filthy service pressure from redshirt freshman Chloe Meester, who dialed up four-straight aces from behind the line. Cats going through some of the growing pains of not having Eva Hudson back there anymore.

Georgia Watson gets in on the action with her first kill of the match on the right side. Watson has been really good this Spring. Good to see her get some action.
