Just finished The Sopranos and it inspired me to build an app. It recommends what to watch next based on your current vibes. Check it out here!
So much fun to do #vibeCoding#indiehacker#sopranos

Hello everyone, coming back to #buildinpublic and make something that will have users !!
It was so fun to built something and talk to people on this platform, reddit + some other forums.
I want to continue and build something that will have people use it this time !!
6/6 Did not get to ship something so a part of me feels sad about it BUT learned new things and will be back after some family + myself time in Aug/Sep.
Back to building in October with the lessons I learned !
Thanks everyone ๐๐

Can't stress this enough : Imperfect action > perfect thinking. Only way to learn is just through doing it, thinking and hypothesizing about it, won't get me there
4/6
Only way to learn โ just do it
Ran a marketing campaign: 9k impressions, 90 clicks, CPC $0.34
It was a fake website but needed to actually see how marketing works, not just read about it
3/6
I didnโt finish shipping, but I learned:
1๏ธโฃ AI can speed up dev
2๏ธโฃ Feedback feels awkwardโdo it anyway
3๏ฟฝ๏ฟฝ๏ฟฝโฃ Figma is fun
4โฃWhen things get ambiguous I tend to procrastinate
5โฃMorning is the best time to learn
6โฃBeing imperfect is the way to go
#buildinpublic final days !! Finished the project, learned a bunch of things and will share them shortly here.
Not everything went according to plan but that's the beauty of this, will learn and do it again !
#buildinpublic day 32: It seems playing with Figma helped. Modified card add card in figma and asked chatgpt how to have it in done in cline. Seems to be put on the page now ! Need to check functionality BUT starting to appreciate figma.
#buildinpublic day 30. I've been reaching a blocker for the past few days, having issues integrating the stripe payment.
The project I've embarked on it's in "sprints" so starting Monday I have to move on from coding. Will review it later but either way, will release in July !
#buildinpublic day 29. Starting to integrate Stripe but having issues on properly doing it, will continue to try !
I told myself I'll finish coding by Saturday and I must ! After it will be making things visually appealing
#buildinpublic day 28. Opened a stripe account ! I was nervous because now it's gotten more "real" and will be money involved in the future ! Excited for this.
Need to connect it in the code tomorrow ! Let's go, happy Saturday everyone !
#buildinpublic day 27. I added it the missed habits dashboard: The total for each missed habit, the days and total for all of them.
When clicking on an "active habit" completed it, it'll remove it from here as well.
Next, is getting it integrated it with @stripe
#buildinpublic day 26, I added it a deadline to the DB, UI !
Next, I have to make sure the penalties work and to connect it to stripe. A bit nervous about the next steps but excited about it !
After to iron out the kinks and make the UI more beautiful.
