There is a need to insert the wordings of the National anthem, the colors of the flag and Coat of Arms in the Constitution.
This will make it require a national approval whenever there is a need to change or amend it.

It requires the approval of a State Assembly in far North for a single LGA in far East to change its name but the National symbols can be changed by single House in 3 sittings.

However, the Constitution did not specify the anthem to sing and flag to salute.
The same Constitution gave names to all the 36 states, the FCT, the state capitals and the 774 local governments.
It becomes a Constitutional matter for a LGA to change its name.

The National symbols of Nigeria need to be inserted into the Constitution.
Section 24 of the Constitution imposed the duty on every Nigerian citizen to abide by the National flag, anthem and pledge.
