While we are unable to have our usual EMS Open House this year in honor of National Emergency Medical Services Week (May 16-22), a heartfelt thank you goes out to our Hudson EMS staff for the swift, lifesaving support they provide the Hudson community 24/7.
@rblancopoet This was a phenomenal presentation. I walked away with new ideas about how to teach poetry effectively and a greater understanding of the complexity of living with multiple cultural identities. “Queer theory: according to my grandmother” was a new poem to me, and I loved it. TY!

@texasphotochick@FixingEducation It is very appropriate to “limit technology” by requiring tech to be stored outside of a teen’s bedroom during sleeping hours. Setting a “tech off” time helps a teen get meaningful sleep, which is essential for learning and health.
We absolutely love this home decor project which one of our fellow Janeites shared with us. Barbara told us that Jane Austen has taught her passion and love and this is so evident in her artwork! Has anyone else been inspired to start a creative project? #SundayThoughts
I’m so looking forward to this Facebook live stream event hosted by the @MiamiBookFair. I’ll read selected poems for isolation, from HOW TO LOVE A COUNTRY, followed by a conversation and Q&A, and an imaginary book signing! I welcome you to join us!
