@WhalePanda Economist (game-theorist) here. Nouriel has several points (i.e., many ICO’s are scams and much is about speculation), but neither can I accept the on-purpose mistakes (consider BTC a substitute to gold not to USD) nor the language used, which only does harm to our profession.

@brucefenton @notsofast Gibbons. A primer in game theory. Undergraduate book that introduces the standard concepts (Nash eq, subgame perfection, Bayesian eq., perfect Bayesian eq.) For more advanced stuff (graduate level) I recommend the book of A Rubinstein.

@AureliusBTC Finally somebody who got it. And this is why I believe that altseason is difficult without ETH. In the end, in an alt portfolio that somehow respects the market, ETH should be the biggest position. And it has clearly a lower volatility.

@jespow @DanDarkPill 3. Based on the report of the reviewers, texts are accepted, rejected or required to be revised. Why do editors and reviewers want to participate in this process? Because of reputation. Since this is a time intensive process, may step down and appoint somebody else after 3-4y.

@mdudas @AureliusBTC Sorry, but this does not make sense. Most will be aware that ETH has traded in a range of 0.03-0.10 BTV for quite some time. So, everyone can get an idea when ETH is “cheap” and when it is “expensive”, always taking into account that this range may not hold up in the future.

@bradmillscan @Melt_Dem I think that the $ amount in the bank of the token issuer is uncorrelated with the token price. Tokens are no equity, so in case of default you do not have any rights. If the money is spent in a sensible way, it may help the price in the long run, but until then...
