Cyberdecks, retro-computers, e-waste treasure hunting, and education are what I dig. ZA-eng/한국어/中文/Code

@RealSexyCyborg You mean you did pursue it before? I would have thought that the keeb peeps, the 3D print peeps, the drone community, some PCB house, or even cosplayers would make better collaborators for building a cyberdeck than SBC makers? SBCs are pretty much off the shelf these days, no?

[Paul Hoets 保罗 @HoetsPaul]

Hey! @RealSexyCyborg! When are you going to relaunch your siege on the North-American-White-dude cyberdeck山寨? It needs to be subverted. Way too much big deck energy. You could start a cyberdeck renaissance. You have the technology and the megapixels. Just saying...

[Paul Hoets 保罗 @HoetsPaul]

@Lertulo @RealSexyCyborg There are whole communities who build these things. Electronics meets cosplay.

@Dixie3Flatline Ooh. Malty.

@pjdecarlo Oh my goodness. You're pregnant?

[Paul Hoets 保罗 @HoetsPaul]

@hafthor @timheuer This really be the problem.

[Paul Hoets 保罗 @HoetsPaul]

@kaorrosi I much dig it. Very dig. Much.

[Paul Hoets 保罗 @HoetsPaul]

@SynStalker This hurts.

Technology should:

-require the smallest amount of attention.

-inform and create calm.

-make use of periphery.

-amplify the best of technology and humanity.

-communicate, but doesn’t need to speak.

-work even when it fails.

-respect social norms.

Very good reminder of the big picture of UX design and tech application.

@RealSexyCyborg From what you see, what do inauthentic makerspaces look like?

Covid sunk the already fragile makerspace community in Korea - how are lockdowns affecting the Chinese makerspaces? @RealSexyCyborg
