I was asked by someone yesterday if I liked being an Occupational Therapist and my answer was an emphatic YES! This video helps to describe why. The life changing power of occupation is incredible to see in action.

Great video @theRCOT@SteveGFord π
Itβs time to show the world the true power of what we do! πππ½ππΏππ»
We want people everywhere to value the life-changing power of occupational therapy.

@LloydCymru Polling Station in Wrexham said it had been a good steady flow for most of the day.
In conversations with people I know it feels like one that people realised was a huge contrast in directions to choose from. Some people I'd assume would vote in a particular way surprised me.
Erddig parkrun Sat 8th Nov. Occupational Therapy staff and students from the local area will be volunteering, running and walking the parkrun this week to celebrate Occupational Therapy week.

@andycampbell32 I went to my first Cardiff match 26 years ago v Wrexham. Been reflecting on the highs and lows of these years and your goal was right up there for me.
Thanks for all you did for the club. Could do with you back up front again nowadays.
Congratulations @Wrexham_AFC
A day of mixed emotions as a Cardiff City fan living in Wrexham. My first Cardiff game was against Wrexham in League Two at Ninian Park.
Both clubs have been on quite a journey over the past 26 years. Wonder what the next 26 holds for them both
We need a Welsh Based @theRCOT member to sit on RCOT council. Wales leads the world in occupational therapy, and we need a strong Welsh voice on council. Is that you??? This is a strategic and important role to help shape the future of RCOT and the profession. Go for it
@JCManish4 Agreed. If they're paying 70% of his wages between now and June that's a Β£5 million saving which could be seen as part of the transfer fee. Not sure if there are any extras in the deal too. Still seems cheap but his value will continue to go down if he stays and we don't play him
I am leaving @theRCOT in April. Going back to the NHS!! I'm quite keen to catch up with Welsh based members before I leave. It would be great to hear your views so I can complete a good handover, and we can keep the momentum going for #TeamCymruOT
@sam__wxm@wrexham Just wait for the McDonald's drive thru to be added to that chaos. Best off buying yourself a horse to travel round Wrexham at this rate.

It's arrived! Looking forward to reading my old work colleague @jpandyawood new book. Available in your usual book places
Met Jason 20 years ago, right at the start of my career. Such a kind hearted, compassionate man who deeply cares about the most vulnerable people in society.
Worth noting that the Digital Voice landline switch over means there could be people in this snowfall without contact due to the power cuts as well. When you are due the switch, ensure if relevant you register as a vulnerable customer.
Was encouraged to have a look at blue sky by @Keirwales Very welcoming place and a lot of the people I used to enjoy interacting with on here are over there. Iβm hoffiOT on there too. See you over there hopefully
@PeteG1973 Youβre welcome. Better for the bank balance and for the environment. Win win.
Have a look at OMM, Salomon and Ron Hill on there too or just put in running jacket waterproof and see what comes up.
