Save the date! Our next talk on Wednesday 25th February is something a little bit different. 🤔 Michael Knaggs, a local crime fiction writer who’s fifth novel uses Holcombe Moor as it’s centre of action, will talk to us about what inspired him to set his novel on the Moor.

Ray showed photographs from the construction of the Rakewood Viaduct between junction 21 and 22 which were absolutely fascinating. Many thanks to Ray for presenting his talk to us and thank you to those people who attended.

We very much enjoyed our talk by Ray Whittaker about the construction of the M62 last night. Ray told us lots of interesting facts about the M62 (for example it is both the highest and lowest motorway in England! ).
