Guy Hollaway ‘This ambitious project is truly groundbreaking in its approach and aspires to act as an exemplar to demonstrate how industry can embrace sustainable methods of transport and create an architecture that reflects the ethos of Brompton Bicycles.’
Hollaway Studio has designed a pioneering new global headquarters and factory in Ashford, Kent for @BromptonBicycle , the UK’s largest bicycle manufacturer.
...while a wide integrated cycle route acts as the artery of the building and connects and explores a building that houses not only manufacturing but designers and creators, permitting employees and visitors alike to cycle straight into the facility.
We are excited to announce that the internet phenomenon and multi million pound selling global artist, Mr Doodle has commissioned Hollaway Studio to design his private artist’s studio in the grounds of his home in Tenterden, Kent.
Our work with Mr Doodle takes the artists studio far beyond the concept of four walls and makes something long lasting out of the relationship between art and architecture.
This studio will act as a permanent embodiment of his artwork and will be situated like a sculpture in its own right within the beautifully landscaped Kent gardens of his home that have been redesigned by his wife, Mrs Doodle, aka Alena Cox.
@Hollawaystudio have secured Detailed Planning Permission for Foxwood; an exciting landscape led scheme in Hythe which seeks to manage and enhance the landscape for our client @SunningdaleHome
Green roofs, mature planting and avenues of green alongside Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHPs), will create a beautiful and sustainable environment where biodiversity will thrive.
As part of their ongoing new redevelopment works to the studio complex, Hollaway Studio have been working on behalf of our clients on an exciting revamp of their historic site in Richmond Upon Thames.
Some buildings find a perfect balance of time and space: connected to the past yet absolutely of the present. We think The Fisheries is one such building; a highly relevant mixed-use scheme that pays tribute to its previous tenant R Green Fisheries and the people it has housed.
We are excited to announce that The Fisheries has been voted for by the people of Hackney as the Winner of the ‘People’s Choice Award’ in the 2020 Hackney Design Awards.
