Looking for something to do while visiting Barrie, ON? Why not learn about the #Holodomor genocide of 1932-33 that has many parallels to today's war in Ukraine. Join us on Aug 24 at the @BarriePublicLibrary 60 Worsely St.
Energoatom has raised alarm after a critical incident on August 10. The main power line failure forced the Zaporizhia NPP onto its sole backup. This crisis puts nuclear safety at risk, impacting not only Ukraine but all of Europe.
The 4th power unit is now in a risky shutdown mode, against regulations. Energoatom warns a blackout could trigger a perilous shift to natural circulation, risking core temperature spiraling out of control due to missing cooling pumps.
To secure safety, ZNPP control must revert to Ukraine's legitimate operator. We can't ignore this threat. Act now to prevent a potential catastrophe.
