Ohhhhhhh, who got thanked in a huge paper that's also super interesting it's me this wasn't really a rhetorical question

Also please read that paper it's really nice work.
Earlier today I made a joke to some friends about how bad my first first-author paper was (all the way back in 2012). I had thought it was pretty bad with spurious science and results. (1/3)
But this afternoon I went and looked at it again. It's maybe not groundbreaking, but it's actually a lot better and more substantive than I remembered.
It was sufficiently well written, with good figures and scientific background. It was actually kind of fun to read. (2/3)
When I was young I had a hard time remembering which tap was hot or cold in a sink (because my dad installed our kitchen sink backwards). So I came up with a device to remember.

Finally getting out on the water a little more after an absence of some years. It's been nice to do something with absolutely nothing electronic involved.
Ok, so Judgement Day in Terminator 2 was on August 29, 1997. Therefore, clothing manufacture stops.
This suggests that the post-apocalyptic style would ACTUALLY have been influenced by plaid and JNCOs and not military fatigues.
When I learned that my high school English teacher had never seen #StarWars I wrote Admiral Ackbar into my creative fiction and she never picked up on it.
This is my confession.
