What is sad is that there could be any Catholic today who does not wish every obstacle to obtaining a true Pope to be removed and, therefore, opposing opinions on this matter to be resolved for the good of the Church. Isn't this precisely why all of us are so adamant in refuting the SSPX errors?

Is it of no consequence that such errors are widespread among Catholics? Should good Catholics be at peace with R&R and not wish to spare the Church from such evil? And when the Thesis likewise misleads a significant portion of the faithful to continue recognizing a false church as being "legally" the Catholic Church and having the authority of Christ's Church to elect a Pope, carrying on the apostolicity of His Church, is it right for Catholics to say we should go on our merry way and not be bothered?

When comments like these are made, it merely reinforces my conviction that people are attached to the Thesis for the sake of the Thesis and not for the sake of the Church.
