Using death to defeat death...wow. No way the devil saw that one coming. God has style (1 Cor 15:21).

[HolySpiritSF @HolySpiritSF]

I am a Christian not because of what I do, but because of Whose I am.

[HolySpiritSF @HolySpiritSF]

Too many walk aimlessly through the day-- Christians cannot. Jesus "went about doing good" (Acts 10:38). Christianity is intentional.

Morning Journal: my life - - the wood. My sins- - the nails. And there is my savior, right in the middle of it all.

The Word of God is meant to be proclaimed in word and deed, not merely thought and theory (2 Tm 4:2; Col 3:12; Jas 2:24).

[HolySpiritSF @HolySpiritSF]

High school lock-in. Thank you Luke Spehar. Thank you for everyones help with this event.

Speaking truth will rarely earn you friends, but it will reveal who your true friends are and who are true friends of Christ.

[HolySpiritSF @HolySpiritSF]

Meek does not mean weak. Meekness requires true strength. (Mt 5:5) True power is robed in humility.

[HolySpiritSF @HolySpiritSF]

Some people say, "If you trust in God's unconditional love, why do you need to pray?" A better ending is "why wouldn't you want to?"

[HolySpiritSF @HolySpiritSF]

What does God think about when you mock (make another appear ridiculous)? Prv3:34 The Lord mocks the mockers, but is gracious to the humble

[HolySpiritSF @HolySpiritSF]

Remember that line in the gospel where Jesus says, "Hey, forget what I said...just do it your way"? Me, neither.

[HolySpiritSF @HolySpiritSF]

Run all you want. . . God runs faster. we are such silly sheep (Mt 18:12).

[HolySpiritSF @HolySpiritSF]

There's difference between being uncomfortable with change and unwilling to change. Christianity is all about change...not comfort.

[HolySpiritSF @HolySpiritSF]

The devil doesn't sit idle by while you seek God. If you're pursuing Christ, the enemy is pursuing you (Rom 7 : 21; 1 Pet 5:8).

[HolySpiritSF @HolySpiritSF]

Governments fail. Economies fail. Leaders fail. Athletes fail. Banks fail. But love.... "Love never fails" (1 Cor 13:8).

[HolySpiritSF @HolySpiritSF]

Teacher: "If your daughter knew her algebra well as her Bible stories she'd get into Harvard. " Me: "I'll settle for Heaven. "

[HolySpiritSF @HolySpiritSF]

"The people hung upon His words "(Lk 19:48)--that is, until they hung Him on a cross. Admiration is fleeting. Love is eternal.

[HolySpiritSF @HolySpiritSF]

I love when people ask for permission to ask a stupid question. Lent ought to reveal the dehydration of our souls (Jn 7:37)
