@MattWalshBlog You made up those rules, little boy. Not clear. Nobody's "stuck". Sorry.
What's your point?
Are you DEFENDING the mass murderer? or trying to upset LGBTQ while they are in mourning after being terrorized by a right winger?
Not good, you are evil. Sorry, God & societies rules.
@MattWalshBlog What is the point here? Your trying to defend the killer? because of somewhere a violent was made of nonbinary but then he murders people on a gay club, he's.... innocent? or at fault for being LGBTQ himself & it's just ironic & cute, then.
What's the point?
@my_sober_diary I think sometimes I go to alcohol thinking that will bring me back to some early 20s life or to feel young. It never works. A walk outdoors, enjoying holidays, enjoying books, music. movies, good food... those things work better.
@_FoxInTheGarden Day 4. Feeling back to 100%. This is when I need to not let that "built in forgetter" creep in or "stinking thinking." I feel good, I'm healthy. Stressful things & exciting things will happen. Alcohol only makes it worse. And it tastes horrible, really.
@Indigowater2 @XcvRT34 @nytimes "Stars & their problems" The money wasn't the only part that seemed of concern there.
What difference if a wealthy person spends 9m or a poor person spends 90%?
The point is addiction isn't just a "star" problem.
Stop being obtuse.
@_FoxInTheGarden Good idea. And each day is its own day. Doesn't matter if I go 5 yrs & then drink myself into a car crash, jail, or liver transplant. Or just waste a beautiful day feeling sick. I am truly happier when sober. Glad you are feeling better.
@_FoxInTheGarden Day 3 starting for me. Slept well finally. I'm tired because I slept well, not because I'm hung over. I'm grateful for that. #odaat#RecoveryPosse
I went 1.5 yrs & then 8 months. I know I can do it. I'm a better person when I'm on the healthy side of the fence.
@_FoxInTheGarden Day 2 for me today. If I don't drink I'll be happy & feel well. If I drink, I'll feel sick & stupid. I know I'm happier & stronger not drinking. Thanks for the inspiration!
@MarchMcr I had done well until this summer. Got back into it. Back & forth one good week, bad week. This weekend I disappointed myself as much as ever with kid activities.
I'm ready to get back to sober again. To much fun stuff with holidays, food, & other stuff to feel sick 1/2 time.
@espartacos2@nytimes It's not a "Hollywood" thing. People all over, all ages, & different socioeconomic status have the same struggle. Drugs & booze is so easy to find.
You need support & a good program. It can get expensive. Can get it for free. That part is irrelevant when your trapped.
When I drink I feel good for about an hour followed by days of regret, shame, & physically ill. When I don't drink I feel energetic, happy, love the mornings, & enjoy life.
Why oh why do I drink?
Not today. Not today.

@tryingthesober Higher power. Don't do it on your own.
One day at a time. You'll feel better if you avoid. I'm with you in the same boat. Know exactly how you feel.
