UPDATE (5:30 p.m.): The shelter-in-place in M'Chigeeng First Nation near the area of Mnaawnkwad Drive and Riverside Drive has been lifted. There is no risk to public safety and members of the public may resume their regular activities. The investigation remains ongoing. The OPP along with UCCM Anishnaabe Police are thanking the public for their cooperation and understanding. ^pia

Today is #muggy with isolated thunderstorms. Friday, the cold front comes in early for #GTA. Looks to move across Eastern ON & Southern QC Friday aft/evening increasing the odds for stronger storms to occur. Less humid for the weekend. Cooler next week.
@MurphTWN Yes we had the snow, but it melted way too fast causing flooding then the first cause water not to hit the roots of trees. I am keeping eyes on it will get back to you if things change

The City of Timmins Thursday- MNR is reporting Timmins 9 fire at 3,200 hectares as of this afternoon. Residents of Gogama have been advised to prepare for potential evacuation. Timmins is under a city-wide fire ban with no open-air burning.

Highway 11 Northbound – Convoy Moving Well
Traffic is moving safely Northbound from North Bay, Temiskaming Shores, and Cochrane. The controlled reopening is functioning as intended, with the MTO lead plow and OPP cruiser guiding vehicles through the corridor.
