It’s Official! Same mission, different look.
After 3 years, The HomeMore Project has revamped our branding with a new logo and vibrant colors.
Our newest Makeshift Traveler will be in the hands of individuals experiencing homelessness beginning January 2024.
Today marks one year since we launched our Makeshift Traveler in San Francisco.
We learned a lot this year, most importantly, we changed the lives of 500 people experiencing homelessness.
We are excited to release our enhanced Makeshift Traveler 2.0 at the beginning of 2024.
@LondonBreed@HomemoreProject has been distributing our solar powered backpacks to those who are unhoused. They are 100% waterproof too. Happy new year!
It was an amazing year filled with over 150 smiles who received a Makeshift Traveler, and we look forward to reaching our goal of delivering 1,000 in 2023.
Thank you for supporting The HomeMore Project!🥳❤️

My nonprofit organization, @HomemoreProject has powered up over 15 people in SF who are currently unhoused with our Makeshift Traveler backpack. They are working Door Dash to get hotels and eventually permanent housing. Let’s collab!
We love our pet friends too, but what happens when they experience homelessness? Michelle Chen highlights the importance of programs addressing homelessness being inclusive of pets, as pets are an essential part of emotional support. To read more, visit our website!🐶
Among the many things plaguing the homeless population, here's one more: keeping mobile phones charged. Now, a San Francisco student is bringing a literal ray of hope to people on the streets. https://t.co/wmMoR7rMFU
Beyond the short term aid that The @HomemoreProject’s Makeshift Traveler backpack provides, connecting with these individuals and hearing their story is what it’s all about. A like or share would be so appreciated ❤️
A very touching story of Dwayne. @HomemoreProject has given out roughly 30 Makeshift Travelers and we still have 470 left to go!

#TheMakeshiftTraveler utilizes solar panels to power a built-in radio and charging ports to charge their phone or other electronic devices. These features can help warn of potential natural disasters and provides peace of mind for those experiencing homelessness. #HomeMoreProject

With a lot of our focus being on our Makeshift Traveler in recent months, we have still been working hard in developing the timeline and plans for Our 27 Step Journey. Our 27 Step Journey is the long-term goal of HomeMore, and we are excited to share more information soon!
