Another beautiful year of my life has come. I feel immensely grateful and deeply appreciate God for his endless love and mercies for granting me the divine opportunity to witness yet another day like this.

Although we have all faced challenges due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, however, I'm optimistic we shall emerge stronger and victorious from this.

Rape is a heinous crime and should not be condoned by any sane society.The rape and brutal murder of Uwa Omozuwa is highly comdemnable and as such, calls for an urgent review of our laws on rape. My deepest condolences goes out to her family over this barbaric incident.

It was indeed an ugly incident and we as leaders must continue to work with all the security agencies to bring the perpetrators of these gloomsome killings to book.

Over the weekend, I paid a condolence visit to the family of Mr. Morris Onyibor on the demise of their beloved daughter, late Kendra Uchechukwu Onyibor.

She was shot by suspected Fulani Herdsmen on 1st November, 2019 along Oma-Eke in Udi LGA of Enugu State.

I was affirmed as the rightful winner of Udi/Ezeagu Federal Constituency Election held on 23rd February, 2019, by the Hon. Justice H.H. Kereng led three-man panel for the National Assembly Election Petition Tribunal.
The court dismissed the petition filed by the APC.
