I had the pleasure to present a report of the National Economy Committee on approval of USD 18.09m for upgrading and furnishing the Uganda Cancer Institute. Parliament overwhelmingly supported the report and urged the government to also find funding of 62bn for a PET machine

Earlier today, I joined HE President Museveni at the official commissioning of the Kampala flyover over. It's good news that JIKA will soon be taking over the funding & construction of the new Karuma bridge as a replica of the Nile bridge

Today we'll spent touring Karuma dam, it's maverous work. 100MW expected early December and another 100MW late December. Works 98% complete. We started with touring of the mighty kawanda substation. There is urgent need to address vandalism of towers
