1. On a cloudy day this past November, I drove past our neighborhood mass shooter’s house for the hundredth time.
The two story grey brick house on McDaniels Ave in Highland Park, IL was right on my way to the grocery store, so I had no choice but to pass it every few days.

6. When I had finished writing it, I looked back up, but could not find them. I waited a bit, then began walking towards baggage claim / ground transportation. I did not see them again
4. We got off the plane. I debated whether to tell her. It’s not my business. And there could be a number of innocent explanations for the man’s messaging. But when I saw them stop to use the bathroom, I wrote a quick note.
3. A woman who I am pretty sure was his wife was sitting next to him. She could not see his screen. As we waited to get off the plane, I made small talk with them. The woman said “we are from Chicago but we live in Maine now.” The man wore a wedding ring.
2. The app he was using (looked like WhatsApp) was auto translating Regina’s messages into English from Russian. Every time the man sent a message or put a heart on one, he quickly closed the app and went back to scrolling the news.

@APNews 3. Secondly: For decades, research has suggested marijuana is addictive in a minority of users, but the chatter class still claims it is not addictive. YES opiate or coke addiction is worse; the withdrawal is far worse. That doesn't mean weed isn't **also addictive.**
@APNews 2. For example: never in history has cannabis been as potent as it is today. 95% THC, are you joking? The 'kind bud' we bought in high school for $60 an eighth was in the single digit percentages (7% or 8% THC)
