Rangers finish the 2025 version of the season with a 46-35 win over Waterloo to finish 3-1 at the Columbia Tournament. Rangers are 12-2 and kick off 2026 next Tuesday at home vs Nashville.

Illinois Basketball Fact: IBCA HOF Coach Rich Herrin had so many great teams and players at Benton High School. In reading Matt Wynn's book on Coach Rich Herrin, I read this gem. In 1969, Steve Stewart became the 1st freshmen to play on the varsity for Benton under Rich Herrin.
