I asked some folks what my first course in Philly that I should play that isn’t your typical T100. This was a top answer and it didn’t disappoint.

An early original Gil Hanse design, you see a lot of aspects that helped shape the designer he is today with large features - wide fairways, greens, and bunkers. Like other Hanse courses, ball placement is imperative to having a good angle of approach.

Very sessionable course with a fantastic membership base. Highly recommend checking it out if you’re in the Philly area.

P.S. the clubhouse might be one of my favorite from “modern” designs - paying homage to the farmhouses of the area.
