You should never collect patient feedback in-person... But now there's a pandemic on that's truer than ever.
Has it taken a pandemic for people to wise up?
They really have used state of the art #AI to understand Staff sentiment.... This will be interesting.
No Crayons - No Scissors and glue - No word-clouds
@RoyLilley a local GP surgery in rural Cornwall currently has 6 staff self-isolating (4GPs&2Nurses)... is this typical? There are 8,000ish Surgeries in the UK
@dianepalmer2020 @a_ottaway Even where anon feedback has been provided to a third party it has found it's way into the resident's notes.

@dianepalmer2020 @a_ottaway Family members should be very cautious providing negative feedback on Social Care esp (care homes), there are several cases where people have been victimised as a result of it.
@gillradcliffe @neilgchurchill @clareenston When you start employing poor methods of feedback collection to achieve response rates you certainly do blur the picture, then the measurement you have is irrelevant and no use for improvement work. Keep feedback clean, eliminate bias.
Proof of venting on passive websites like TripAdvisor is that hotels who engage a pro-active feedback system like Hootvox enjoy a 19% increase in positive feedback... That's almost 1 whole Star.
NHS Choices & paper feedback are not good for your reputation. #PatientExperience
Perception that #online#feedback is for venting & offline feedback is for action. Can’t help but feel that many of the issues identified by doctors about patients are also perceived by patients about doctors. Danger of ‘we’ve always done it like this’ doesn’t mean it’s right...
@Rebecca_Baines_ Certainly more venting happens with passive feedback e.g. a website or platform patients need to seek out... also when a patient has to make considerable effort to leave feedback e.g., posting paper feedback.
eCommerce realised this years ago but NHS not quite yet.
Clearing up some old papers collected over the years and found this poem from one of our patients, beautifully written and guess what, it hasn't changed much
